Out out out out out, so far out that it's orbiting Jupiter. The only way this works is if you lose that nightmare below the hips, slap on bunny ears and a fluffy tail and stick her in a Playboy club circa 1977. Otherwise it's giving shapewear and weird ass paper bag and I reject both of those things out of hand
Out because I didn't see it and think "She looks great". I looked at it and said " what the hell is that mess?"
IN. It is creative and interesting and has a sense of humor.
I've heard of a paper bag waist, but not paper bag knees. Out.
It is a dopey -looking outfit, but it is successful and all the details are properly handled--even without taking it all too seriously. So, In, even though I don't happen to like it.

Out. The dress is too silly. But I will be the cheese that stands alone and say the accessories and hair and makeup are perfect.
I need to see video of her walking up to the step and repeat.
IN because it's hysterical, OUT because it's a my-dress-fell-off situation. Final decision: OUT because it needed some kind of necklace.
IN. It's completely silly, but it's also flawlessly executed. She looks amazing and if you can't be carried on stage by muscle-y men (I'm assuming that's how this works) when you are hosting the VMA's, when can you?
I really want to know how she walked in this! Did she hike that bottom tutu up around her waist? Did a duo of gorgeous escorts carry her off?? Did she just step right out of it??? Whatever she did, she looks hot (it's also giving me a bit of those doll TP holders many of our nana's had, lol!)

Unreserved IN - this is hilarious, she is delightful, and the styling is just right.
It's an out for me. It feels like a mullet dress: undergarments on top, dress on the bottom. The color makes it less interesting. If you're going for something like this - go all the way. And it's under styled - needed a necklace.
I can't get past the "Oops! My dress fell down and is hung around my knees" vibe. I'd feel the same if it were a suit jacket with "dropped" trousers. OUT
SO in for me. It's cheeky and clever, and somehow I find myself wanting to call it "restrained" and "elegant"... but I know that would be virtually redefining those words. Whatever... maybe I feel like it's HER version of sexy and restrained and elegant. LOVE.

I like it for sheer wit and attitude, though I can’t help but picture two large bodyguards hoisting her up by her elbows and carrying her around all night.
